Responsibilities
Ensuring that plans are in place for future meetings to ensure continuation of the group, not just the AGM but other meetings serving tectonic and structural interests (e.g. TSG AGM 2010 will be in Birmingham)
Attend the AGM for committee meetings, conference dinner, etc. Arrange judging of posters and talks.
Attend Geological Society of London Science Committee meetings (this job shared with Secretary and Chair doing alternate ones)
Keep in touch (mainly e-mail) with other committee members to share ideas
